NAJAH Virtual Expo FAQs

NAJAH Virtual Expo is an online event for anyone thinking of enrolling on a course, going to college, doing a postgraduate degree, returning to education, upskilling, changing career direction, taking professional, holistic or hobbyist courses or looking for information on courses, classes and educational options in 2021.

The expo takes place from 27 to 29 October 2020, 10:00 to 22:00 GST (GMT+4).

A virtual expo is an event run in an online environment. It is online equivalent of a traditional exhibition, but exhibitors and visitors connect with one another on the web/app, rather than in-person. Attendees log into event through their web browser and can chat in real-time with universities and colleges and have the same conversations, receiving information and watch NAJAH Talks as if they were at a physical event. 

Yes. During the expo we will also be streaming our scheduled live talks and workshops from educators, professional speakers and guidance counsellors. This is a great way to connect with prospective students and promote your courses.

NAJAH Virtual Expo is free to attend for all course-seekers and prospective students seeking to enroll on courses in 2021.

Keep an eye on latest exhibitors that join the expo. Research a little bit about them and the courses they provide. Decide which colleges you’d like to chat to first and priorities your time for those meetings. By logging in early, you’ll be one of the first attendees to talk to your preferred colleges.

Click the below button to register as an attendee. It will take you to the registration form where you can complete your registration for NAJAH Connect, where the NAJAH Virtual Expo will be hosted.

Once the form is completed, you will receive an email from [email protected] (can take up to 60 minutes) with your login details and a link to the virtual expo.

If you have a profile already on the platform, you don't need to register again for the NAJAH Virtual Expo. You will be receiving all the communications (emails and push notifications) about the event via the platform. You can start bookmarking the NAJAH Talks you want to attend and soon meeting slots will be available to book your time in with university representatives.

Once you have completed the registration form, you will receive an email from [email protected] (can take up to 60 minutes) with your login details and a link to the virtual expo.

If the email with magic link (from [email protected]) was not still received (neither found in your spam folder, most probably it was blocked by your firewall). To access the platform, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the https://www.swapcard.com/ page and in the right top corner click on the green tab ‘Participant’

2. On the window that opened, please enter your email address (that you used for the registration) and the platform will prompt you to reset your password

3. Once this step is completed, you will be redirected into the platform.

Each exhibitor will have a dedicated page you can visit that will have courses listed and a bit about the college. At the event you can also live chat with university representatives about the course opportunities.

You can connect with universities directly (under universities & colleges) check their courses and ask them about their scholarships programmes. We will be holding scholarships talks during the Virtual Expo, please check the schedule and bookmark the sessions.

Yes. Throughout the online event we will have a selection of educators and advisors giving topical talks and workshops for registered attendees. As an attendee, you will also get a chance to win amazing prizes during the Virtual Expo from 27 to 29 October 2020.

NAJAH Virtual Expo gives prospective students the opportunity to talk to admissions team live about their courses and the advantages of studying at their college. Furthermore, you can gain a new perspective on what course you want to enrol in via talks and workshops and discover new methods in which you can study.

Just like an in-person expo or educational fair, the meetings, talks and seminars will all begin at scheduled times. Using our NAJAH Connect platform, you will be able to click into the session at the official start time (or a few minutes earlier, if you would like to make a good impression). You can build a personalized agenda of meetings or online talks that you want to attend and you will be able to submit questions for many of the seminar speakers. Best of all, with this virtual event, you will be able to access everything from the comfort of your own home!

You will find all universities under Universities & Colleges page where you will be able to click on the university of your choice, on the right side of the university page you will see a chat box, you can submit your questions there and ask them for a meeting/call.

After you completed your registration. You can simply join directly from the app by clicking on ‘LIVE NOW’.

You can arrange a consultation meeting with a university representative following these 3 ways:

  • Send a message any of the University ‘s chat box
  • Send a message to any of the staff members listed in the University profile
  • Book an appointment by selecting a time slot directly in meeting slots area at the university’s profile.

Just like in a regular social media platform, once you become contacts with a university there will be no limit to communicate with them throughout the year. Ensure to send a contact request to each university representatives. However, if you book a meeting slot using the panel available in the university profile, these have a duration of 15 minutes.

As a visitor, you don’t have a limit to the number of meetings you can have on the platform. However, you are not allowed to have more than 20 pending meetings at any given point of time.
