The Faculty of Engineering at the American University of Madaba offers Bachelor degrees in both Civil and Mechanical Engineering. The programs provide a comprehensive understanding of all the major fields by highly qualified professors who graduated from top American and/or world renowned universities around the globe. The faculty of engineering has up-to-date laboratories that allow students to practice their basic engineering knowledge, and provide faculty members with the required infrastructure for their ongoing research. Students graduating from the five-year programs through a well-designed and thorough study plan will attain a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil and Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and accredited by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission.
The curricula are designed to create a solid academic knowledge embedded in its graduates, on one hand, and to provoke their innovative scientific sense on the other hand. The Program prepares the graduates to excel in their professional careers, be involved in solving local and global engineering problems, and work in contemporary research fields. Many of our graduates have either attained post graduate degrees from renowned universities or are currently enrolled in post graduate programs. High percentage of our graduates is successfully working in local and international engineering companies; paving the way for their fellow AUM Engineering students to either acquire a position for internship or a future job at these companies.
Our students have always been recognized locally and regionally through distinguished work and performance; from winning the bridge contest award at the University of Jordan to winning the first place in prestigious awards such as the HULT prize, they have always stood out from
the rest of the crowd.
